Spelunker's Frozen Custard and Cavern Burgers

Food was great! Awesome burgers and fries! Tasty Philly cheese steak! We came by just after the lunch rush. We were able to place our order as soon as we walked in. We grabbed our seats at the back booth that could accommodate six people. The table and floor were in need of a cleaning. The seat had a tear in it. Food came out pretty quick! It was good!

What a DIAMOND in the rough!!! Apparently this burger place has been here for more than 14 years and I'm just now learning about it!!! Spelunker's is the ONLY reason I will be traveling out to that side of Front Royal! There is NOTHING else in the area but the burgers are definitely worth the drive! You get the option of having a burger, a bacon burger, a double burger, or a bacon double burger!!! And every one of them is good!!! The fries are fantastic and everything is made fresh the day of! Be very careful what time of day you go because the seating area is small and Spelunker's is busy as soon as they open the doors. The best time to go is between 3-5pm but avoid dinner time Fri or sat night!
